Quick Sketch - Touhou/MadokaKonpaku YoumuHere’s another picture. This one was difficult to work on, but I think this is okay.I knew I wanted to draw Youmu because she’s the softest, but I also wanted to draw Sayaka, or at least her clothing design. The pose is slightly more dynamic, so that kind of threw me off while drawing it. The end result is somewhat less than expected, but I think it’s still good enough.

Quick Sketch - OriginalMagical GirlI originally wanted to draw a magical girl by combining all the Madoka characters. The character design didn’t turn out all that great, but I guess it’s worth posting here.

Quick Project - Puella Magi Madoka MagicaKaname Madoka and Kyubey“Don’t forget. Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. —As long as you remember her, you are not alone.”In spite of my Madoka Blu-Rays and Scale Figure coming in, I decided to at least draw a picture of Madoka. It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost a year since the series came to an end. This picture was sort of fun to work on. I was more excited to get the picture done as opposed to ironing it out. I admit, lazyness really got the end of me. There are some obvious shortcuts present, but I don’t care. I’ll save the problems for the next picture.

Quick Sketch - Puella Magi Madoka MagicaCharlotte and Tomoe MamiA very rough quick sketch for Madoka. Isn’t Charlotte cute? Eating cake together with her friend Mami. Oh I can see where this is heading.I cropped out a part of this picture simply because it was R-18G rating. Something that I’m not too fond of anyways.

Quick Comic - Yoğurt ProjectBirthday Wishes - Yoğurt’s Wish
It’s been too long since I had done a Yoğurt comic, or any other picture. I’ve been holding back my drawings in anticipation for a new cintiq tablet. I know I’m probably going against my word by having words in my comic, as I normally do not approve of having text in my comics. It’s a language barrier.Another slightly major change has been made to Yoğurt’s character design. Perhaps the biggest changes were made to her hair, in particular. It’s less wavy, and more messy. It is also much shorter in length. I like how she’s ever-changing with time. It kind of feels like growing up, doesn’t it?This one is simple to understand. May 6 is Yoğurt’s birthday. She’s 12 years old in this comic series. She’s trying to come up with a birthday wish. Her wish? To receive birthday wishes from people. The punchline? Well, if you know what Meduka Meguca is, then I’m sure you’ll catch the reference in the last cell. Otherwise, the comic is pretty much in-line with my first Yoğurt comic in being somewhat sad. It’s not very exciting or funny. I admit, I was aiming for a boring and mediocre tale. Yoğurt as a character is simply that, so I had deliberately made the comic to reflect it. Haters gonna hate.As selfish as that wish could be, you have to realize that Yoğurt isn’t a very socially-active character. Give her a break. At least until I introduce some friends for her…
