Movie Seats

This is a long arc. The past several comics were all related to the movie theatres.

I recall having seen these seats around, whether it is in the movies or amusement parks. For the most part these aren’t very interesting, but every once in a while, something surprises me.

Besides drawing lately, I have been busy building a standalone website that I can one day move YogurtMedia to. It’s my first time playing around with servers and such, but it’s certainly fun!

Back in my day, the internet was not as accessible. Checking online if there was anything after the credits wasn’t really an option.

Actually, my issue here isn’t really about stingers, but rather, it is my habit of forgetting where people are and pointing people to look elsewhere, like what Yogurt is doing here. Heh.

I have ever come across a movie where I just had to discuss parts of the movie with my friends, while the movie is still playing. It might be rude to interrupt someone’s movie, but sometimes I just can’t help it, much like Yogurt and Berry here.

You know, Yogurt and Berry are very much like brother and sister.

Another comic for Yogurt’s trip to the movies!

Some movie theatres sometimes don’t allow people to bring in outside food, whether it is opened or closed tight. However, I’m sure that doesn’t stop anyone from bringing in food. In fact, I’m fairly certain that most theatres don’t mind much at all, so long as people don’t make a big mess.

Continuing on from the last comic. It turns out that Berry and Yogurt were planning to go to the movies with their friends.

I’m normally not the kind of person that goes out often with friends. It might seem like I’m not very interested, but I actually cherish those moments. In this comic, Yogurt accidentally slips out a pretty cheesy but sentimental line with regards to how she feels about her going out with her friends. 

Actually, there was one time in the comics where her friends invited her to go to the movies. Unfortunately, she was unable to attend at that time…

Sleep Lock

Another comic for the week! I’ve been closing in on my quota far too soon in the recent weeks.

This is actually the start of another mini arc. There has been many arcs in the past which typically lasts two-three comics, but I might continue this little arc a little bit longer. It simply starts off with Yogurt trying to wake Berry up. Perhaps there’s something planned for the day that made her panic like that.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Seeing what Yogurt had grown up to be, I can only imagine just how proud her mom would be if she were still around. Nonetheless, her mom will always be there, as she lives on within Yogurt, who is the spitting image of her mother. Even if she has not made many memories with her, Yogurt is at the very least grateful of her mother.

Misshipped

Sometimes my friends ship their online goods to my place for no apparent reason aside from convenience. With many things arriving at once, I sometimes forget which package belongs to whom. This might not be very common for some people.

In this comic, Yogurt believed that the parcel containing chocolates belonged to Risa. Her assumption turned out to be wrong, as the chocolates belonged to Terry. Why would he order chocolates anyhow?

Pretty self explanatory. Sometimes I can be oddly nervous whenever the mail guy comes by to drop off parcels. I might not have an addiction to the warmth of my bed, but much like Yogurt here, sometimes you might fear what the delivery guy might think of you.

5 Years of Yogurt
5th panel for Surprise

Happy birthday Yogurt! Well actually, it’s more of an anniversary of the day that the whole Yogurt Project was first conceived. I’ve been celebrating this day ever since the project came about. It was only natural for it to be Yogurt’s birthday as well!

Looking back at those five years, it really feels like there is a direction this time around. It’s very hard to believe that it has been five years already, from the time I first drew Yogurt as a oddly shaped stick figure in a Flockdraw room, right up until the comics I’ve been working on today!

I can’t say that there has been much technical improvement at all, but I can certainly say that it got a lot more colorful. I hope to keep it up and improve over time. Thank you!
