Green and Pink

And with this image, marks the end of my winter break. It’s back to school for another three months.

I’ve always thought about how conflicting green and pink are together. The two colours are inverses of each other. It was fun to experiment with inverse colours.

The character originally started off as a sketch of Wriggle Nightbug, but I figured that it looked nothing like her, so I had left it as an original character. I’ve had the worst time with the arms for this picture. In the many versions, her arms were posed in a variety of ways, none of which looked particularly fitting. So I did what everyone does when they want to minimize work for the arms and hands, which is something I had avoided since ever.

I hope the end result is, at the very least, interesting.
